At just six months old, he was facing euthanasia when rescue stepped in and gave him a second chance. He came into rescue FULL of puppy energy with absolutely no idea what to do with himself. Today, George is the most loving, easy-going dog I could ask for. He makes everyone smile and gives the absolute best hugs. From a puppy running out of time to a dog who brings so much happiness everywhere he goes, George is what rescue is all about.** *Submitted by Cat Morris* ![](https://cdn.synaps.media/pembrokenews/content/images/2026/10/IMG_8987-2.webp) ![](https://cdn.synaps.media/pembrokenews/content/images/2026/10/IMG_7126-3.jpeg) ### Would you like your pet to be selected as the PCJ pet of the week? ### **We Need Your Pet Pics!** Email us your pictures with "Pet of the Week" in the subject (any type of pet, from any town is eligible) and maybe you'll see your pet featured here.
