# Police Blotter: August 14 - August 21, 2026

**During the week of Friday, August 14 through Friday, August 21, 2026 at 8:00 a.m., the Pembroke Police Department dispatch log recorded 100 calls for service. The following is a summary of selected activity.**

*Note: All persons arrested are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in court.*

## Arrest / Assault

A 20-year-old Pembroke man was arrested on August 20 following a non-aggravated assault call on Furnace Colony Drive. The log lists charges of assault and battery and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.

## Larceny and Fraud

**•** Larceny/shoplifting - Church Street. An incident report was prepared on August 18.

**•** Fraud - School Street. Police responded on August 20; the log records no police service necessary.

## Breaking and Entering

**•** Residential B&E - MacDonald Way. Police responded on August 20; the complaint was listed as unfounded.

## Animal Control Activity

**•** Animal bite - Plymouth Street: three calls on August 14.

**•** Animal complaint - Mattakeesett Street on August 15.

**•** Animal complaint - Glenwood Road on August 16; referred to Animal Control.

**•** Dog complaint - Deveuve Lane on August 19.

**•** Animal bite - Plymouth Street, Autumn Waye, Schoosett Street and Pelham Street on August 20.

**•** Lost/recovered animal - Pleasant Street on August 20.

## Recreational Vehicle Complaints

**•** Elmer Street & Blueberry Lane - August 15; area search negative.

**•** Gurney Drive - August 19; area search negative.

**•** Blueberry Lane - August 20; area search negative.

## Traffic Enforcement

Officers conducted 13 traffic stops during the period, resulting in 4 citations and 9 verbal warnings.

**•** Citations: Oak Street & Pleasant Street (1); Church Street (2); Center Street (1).

**•** Warnings: Center Street (2); Washington Street (1); Oak Street (2); Washington Street & Old Washington Street (1); Schoosett Street (1); Church Street (1); Plain Street (1).
