The log included one arrest, several property-related complaints, five reported crashes and traffic enforcement throughout town. All persons arrested or charged are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in court. ## Arrest A 37-year-old Marshfield man was arrested following a traffic stop on Church Street at 6:42 p.m. Sunday, August 23\. Police charged him with operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license and failure to stop or yield. ## Larceny, Fraud and Other Incidents Police responded to three larceny complaints during the week. Two were reported on Old Church Street, one on Monday afternoon and another on Wednesday evening. A third larceny was reported Thursday morning on Mattakeesett Street, where an incident report was prepared. A fraud complaint was recorded Wednesday afternoon on Pembroke Woods Drive. Police also prepared reports following a trespassing complaint Monday on Dwelley Street, a drug-law violation Tuesday night on School Street, and a disturbance Thursday evening on Plain Street. Other calls included a report of annoying phone calls on Mattakeesett Street, suspicious motor-vehicle activity on Center Street, Pleasant Street and Church Street, suspicious activity on Phillips Road, Chapel Street and Old Oak Street, and a noise complaint Wednesday night on Dwelley Street. Police said peace was restored in the noise complaint. ## Crashes and Motor-Vehicle Calls Five crashes were reported. Police prepared an accident report after a Friday afternoon crash at Allen and Center streets and responded Tuesday to a crash on Church Street. On Wednesday morning, officers investigated an injury crash at Oldham Street and Mariah's Path. On Thursday, police recorded a minor crash on Center Street and prepared an accident report following a crash on Church Street. Disabled vehicles were reported Monday at Oldham and Wampatuck streets and Thursday at Schoosett and Water streets. The Thursday vehicle was towed at the owner's request. An erratic-operation complaint was reported Friday night on Center Street. ## Traffic Enforcement Police conducted eleven traffic stops during the reporting period. Officers issued five citations and four verbal warnings. One additional stop led to the Sunday arrest, and another Thursday night at Mountain Avenue and Center Street resulted in an incident report. Citations were issued on Center Street, Plain Street, Church Street, at Oak and Church streets, and at Center and Hobomock streets. Verbal warnings were issued at Church and Oak streets on two occasions, on Mattakeesett Street and on Pelham Street. Radar assignments were conducted Monday night on Church Street and early Friday morning in the vicinity of Mattakeesett Street. ## Animal Complaints An animal-bite complaint was reported Saturday night on Plymouth Street and referred to Animal Control. Two animal complaints were reported Wednesday, one on Valley Street and another on Pleasant Street. --- The police dispatch log in its entirety is available below.
