During the week of Friday, July 31 through Friday, August 7, 2026, the Pembroke Police Department responded to a variety of calls for service. The following highlights are drawn from the department dispatch log. All persons charged with a crime are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.

Larceny

Police took a larceny report on Old Washington Street on August 3.

Traffic Enforcement

Verbal warnings were issued during traffic stops on Church Street, High Street, Washington Street at Barker Street, School Street, Barker Street, Oak Street (three stops), Center Street, Schoosett Street, Church Street at Old Oak Street, and Church Street again on August 6 and August 7.

Citations were issued during traffic stops on West Elm Street on August 3 and Barker Street on August 4.

An erratic-operation complaint at Columbia Road and Schoosett Street on August 1 resulted in a negative area search. Other erratic-operation calls occurred on Church Street, School Street, Washington Street and Raymond Avenue. The Washington Street incident on August 5 resulted in a verbal warning.

Radar

Radar assignments were conducted on Wampatuck Street on August 3 and at School Street and Prince Way on August 4.

Motor Vehicle / Tows

Disabled-motor-vehicle calls were handled on School Street, Church Street at Oak Street, Barker Street, Washington Street at Schoosett Street, and Church Street.

Vehicles were towed at School Street on August 2, Church Street at Oak Street on August 3, and Church Street on August 5.

Crashes and Hit-and-Run Reports

Crash reports were recorded on Church Street and Oak Street on July 31.

A hit-and-run crash was reported on Washington Street on August 1, and another hit-and-run incident was reported on Mattakeesett Street on August 2.

Additional crashes were reported on Church Street, Center Street at Hobomock Street, William Avenue, School Street and Learning Lane during the week.

Animal Control

Animal Control initiated service calls on Oak Street on July 31 and August 1.

Animal complaints were reported on Church Street, School Street, Birch Street and West Elm Street.

Recreational Vehicles / Boats

Police responded to a boat complaint on Littlebrook Road on August 2.

A recreational-vehicle complaint on Reservoir Road on August 4 resulted in a negative area search.

Illegal Dumping

Police responded to an illegal dumping/littering complaint on Hobomock Street on August 1.

Disturbances and Noise Complaints

Police handled disturbances on Gardner Lane and Washington Street, along with gathering complaints on Indian Trail and Overbrook Road.

Noise complaints were reported on Pembroke Woods Drive and Schoosett Street.

Suspicious Activity

Suspicious-activity calls were reported on Randall Street, Seltsam Way, Wampatuck Street, Barker Street, Andrew Drive, Church Street, Center Street, Pembroke Woods Drive, and Cypress Road at Valley Street.

Property and Missing-Person Matters

Recovered/found property was reported on Old Church Street on August 4.

A missing adult was reported on Wampatuck Street on August 5.

Missing/lost property was reported on Water Street on August 6, and a lost/stolen license plate was reported on Tara Drive on August 7.
