Did you know that the Pembroke Public Library has a collection of “Things” you can check out? These non-traditional library items and kits can be borrowed by anyone age 18 and over for up to two weeks.
We have plenty of Things that can help enhance your outdoor summer fun! Make your cookout even more memorable with a cornhole set, horseshoe game, giant tic-tac-toe, or bubble machine. Learn to play pickleball, or visit a local disc golf course with our disc golf set; explore the outdoors with a metal detector or our birdwatching kit, which comes with two sets of binoculars (adult and children’s-sized) and guides to local birds to help with identification; tend to your garden with a soil tester and bulb planter; or check out the night sky with a telescope!
We recently expanded our collection with some brand-new items including a vinyl record player, solar power bank, button maker, and Cricut EasyPress Mini.
