During the week of Friday June 26 through Thursday July 2, 2026, the Pembroke Police logged approximately 281 calls of service. Note that all persons arrested are presumed innocent.

Arrests

Theresa Askey, 63 years old, of Hanson for 4th Offense OUI and other motor vehicle complaints.

Animal Control

The animal control officer received six reports of animal complaints: Washington Street, Spring Street, Furnace Lane, Yale Road, Standish Street and West Elm Street.

Motor Vehicles

Radar was deployed on four occasions: Matakeesett Street, Mountain Avenue, Oak Street and High Street.

21 Traffic Stops that resulted in 15 Warnings and six Citations were issued to drivers. 

There were two Crashes under $1,000 and six Crashes over $1,000.

There were five reports of erratic operation: Mattakeesett Street, Mountain Avenue, Birch Street, Oak Street and Church Street.

There were two reports of recreational vehicle use: one on Gurney Drive and the other on Elmer Street.

Property Crimes

There were two reports of Fraud: one on Center Street and the other on Birch Street.

There were two reports of vandalism:

Wampatuck Street at the Town Landing Beach, an Officer was shown damage to a sink in one of the bathrooms. The bathroom was still winterized and was not open to the public. It appeared to the Officer, “that the sink had broken free from the wall as a result of someone sitting on it.” The officer noted that the “sink had separated from the wall and broke on the floor beneath the mount.”

Glenwood Road near the entrance to Little Sandy Town Beach, it is reported that five vehicles parked near the entrance were damaged. The vehicles had damage to their windows. The Officer reports that, “The damage appears to have been caused by a pellet gun or airsoft/bb gun.” Evidence was collected at the scene.
