Thank you for stopping by the PCJ Pet Memorial Page. The animals in our lives can be so much more than a pet. For many they are family. They touch our hearts and bring joy. But like a flickering candle their time in our lives is limited. This page will memorialize the loving friends we've had to let go and serve as a celebration of their lives.
Our first furry friend is a cat named Aramis, submitted by Nicole Lydic. Nicole had to say goodbye to Aramis on Tuesday, July 21. Here's what she had to say about him on July 19.
"Meet Aramis, the quintessential swashbuckling survivor. Named after the famed Three Musketeers character known for his charm, loyalty, and penchant for miraculous escapes, this snowshoe cat perfectly fits his moniker. Adopted by Nicole and Jason while on the brink of euthanasia at three years old, he was graced with a new chance at love and found his forever home. Aramis is now 15."

"Aramis waited at the door for me to come home. He was my alarm clock, 6AM everyday he would wake me up. Sometimes he would let me sleep in until 7AM on Sundays. He greeted every visitor, and each person would be his new best friend. He loved to climb, especially onto my shoulders. He never wanted to leave my side."
"Aramis came back from the brink, thrived, and experienced the love of a family. He gave back that love ten fold and will always be remembered. As an anonymous proverb says: “Not all angels have wings. Some have paws, fur and unconditional love.”
