Meet Jinx, this week's PCJ Pet of the Week.
Jinx is a rescue from a kill shelter in Abilene, TX, who we’ve had since he was 3 years old (he’s now 8). He’s an 80-pound Australian Cattle Dog/Chihuahua/Husky mix who loves his human and canine neighbors (except for one sweet dog named Jack - sorry Jack!) Submitted by Pembroke resident Jill Taylor.

Cowboys Story:
We are so excited to introduce you to Cowboy!
Cowboy is a 4-year-old Pit/Hound/Lab mix who is bursting with love, energy, and personality. He's ready to find his forever home where he can finally relax, feel safe, and be part of a family.
Cowboy came into rescue back in November after living on the streets with his previous owner. Through no fault of his own, she made the difficult and loving decision to give him a chance at a better life, one filled with stability, comfort, and a cozy couch to call his own.
True to his age, Cowboy is full of adventure and enthusiasm. He loves being active, exploring, and spending time with his people. He has also completed a board-and-train program and is eager to show off everything he's learned!
Cowboy would do best in a home with children 16+ (or no children) and may be able to live with other dogs given proper introductions. He will thrive with a confident, consistent owner who can continue to guide him and help him succeed.
