Pet of the Week, September 11, 2026

Meet Sir Baxter, Duke of Harwich, this week's PCJ Pet of the Week.

Baxter, formally Sir Baxter Duke of Harwich, is an 8-year old Cavachon. While he may walk on four paws and bark when he’s excited I assure you, he is a little man, not a dog. With a full closet of seasonal clothing and sports jerseys, Baxter loves being outside in the fresh air and going on long (greater than 1 mile) daddy walks on the weekends, where he gets to check the local pee-mail on all the bushes and hydrants. Aside from his main meals in the morning and evening, Baxxie loves snacking on green beans, carrots, rice, watermelon, apples, and broccoli stems - known as fart root. He is the king of the neighborhood and has human friends that know him by name three streets over. At Christmas, Baxter has cards made with his picture and he puts on his special holiday outfit to go for a stroll to see all his puppy and human friends in the neighborhood so he can give them doggy Christmas cards. He is a true blessing to be around and will instantly cheer you up if you are ever lucky enough to meet him. Submitted by Nathan Goldrick
