During the week of Friday July 10 through Thursday July 17, 2026, the Pembroke Police logged approximately 289 calls of service. Note that all persons arrested are presumed innocent.
Arrests
A 25-year-old Kingston man was arrested on July 10 following an erratic operation complaint on Riverside Drive. He was charged with operating under the influence of liquor (second offense), leaving the scene of property damage, resisting arrest, and negligent operation of a motor vehicle.
On July 12, police arrested a juvenile following an armed robbery investigation on Misty Meadow Road. Charges included armed and masked robbery, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, and providing false identification to law enforcement.
A 29-year-old Brockton man was arrested on July 15 during a traffic stop on Church Street on an outstanding warrant.
Traffic Enforcement Hot Spots
The busiest enforcement locations during the week were:
1. Water Street – numerous radar details and traffic stops resulting primarily in verbal warnings.
2. Mattakeesett Street – multiple traffic stops and parking complaints.
3. West Street / School Street – repeated traffic control assignments, radar enforcement, speeding complaints, and erratic operation investigations.

Most additional traffic stops resulted in verbal warnings.
Animal Calls
Animal Control responded to an animal bite on Kennie Lane, an animal complaint on Mattakeesett Street, a dog complaint on Center Street, and assisted with a lost or recovered animal on Center Street.
Recreational Vehicle Complaint
Police investigated a recreational vehicle complaint on Elmer Street. Officers searched the area but were unable to locate the vehicle.
Fraud
Police investigated fraud complaints on Center Street and Pembroke Woods Drive during the reporting period.
Larceny
Police investigated three reported larcenies during the week.
- July 10 – Washington Street

- July 16 – Washington Street
Incident reports were prepared in each case for further investigation.
Robbery
Police investigated an armed robbery on Misty Meadow Road on July 12. The investigation resulted in the arrest of a juvenile on multiple felony charges.
Threatening
Police investigated a threatening complaint on Church Street. An incident report was prepared.
Hit-and-Run Crash
Police investigated a hit-and-run crash on High Street. Services were provided, and the incident remains documented.
Motor Vehicle Crashes
Officers investigated multiple crashes during the reporting period, including property-damage crashes on:
- Old Oak Street at Church Street
- Barker Street
- Church Street at Oak Street
- Mattakeesett Street
- Corporate Park Drive
- Washington Street at Pleasant Street
Several crashes required formal accident reports because damages exceeded $1,000.
Other Notable Activity
Police also investigated numerous suspicious activity complaints, disturbance calls, parking complaints, disabled motor vehicles, noise complaints, erratic operation reports, and provided frequent traffic control details throughout town. Radar enforcement continued on Water Street, West Street, Oak Street, Mountain Avenue, and other locations during the reporting period.
